Sorry to disappoint you, but the Feedjit widget just shows the location of everyone who lands on my blog; it’s you who is in Chicago, not me! I’m still firmly rooted in the UK I’m afraid. But I’m always happy to accept commissions and although I prefer to make a site visit and paint on the spot, I’m guessing the cost would be prohibitive in this instance…
A 12×16″ watercolour from a photograph would cost around 500USD + shipping. The house sounds lovely. Please let me know if you would like to take it further and thanks for your interest.

I am writing to you from Canada to both compliment you on your website and work. As well ask if you have any information on a local artist William Genge? My search for him began with a painting I acquired titled “Cottages- Ayot St. Lawrence”, which lead me to your website. The painting is of the same cottage as in your watercolour,
along with a gentleman looking at the house from across the street. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
